The way of structuring activities and progresses significantly affects the competitiveness of companies. Through Organizational engineering, the cost efficiency, the customer orientation, the flexibility or the innovativeness of an enterprise can be supported - but it can also be hindered.
This learning unit is interested in the mediation of the basical aspects, managers wanting to reshape corporate structures and processes for a better competetivness should consider. In the course central forms of organization and their fields of application are presented to the participants and discussed based on case studies. Furthermore, the course deals with important questions of the design and implementation of the organizational processes. It also debates about starting points for an effective implementation.
